The Historic Main Line has been a charming, desirable place to live and call home for decades. Dating back to the early 1900s, apartment buildings became more prevalent along the Main Line as prosperity rose and transportation evolved.
UCH is proud to be part of this history, as we own multiple long-standing apartment buildings along major roadways such as Lancaster Ave and Montgomery Ave. Sevilla Court, The Tedwyn, and The Wynnewood house are all owned and operated by UCH.
In 1925, a Spanish revival-style apartment known as Sevilla Court was built on the Main Line. Today, Sevilla Court offers elegant apartment homes in a highly sought-after location. Each apartment possesses unique characteristics and have beautiful hardwood floors, dramatic high ceilings, washer/dryers and fireplaces. These beautiful and sprawling apartment homes offer all the luxury of the 21st century combined with the old-world charm of the early 1900’s.
In 1959, The Tedwyn apartments were built, which, according to Kathleen Abplanalp, were advertised as “Main Line’s most fashionable address.” Charming and elegant, The Tedwyn has been a part of the Main Line community for almost half a century and is positioned in an exceptional community with charming surroundings that combine natural beauty and historic significance. Offering spacious apartment homes with open layouts, renovated kitchens, and modern amenities, this designated 55+ community is a wonderful option, located in a desirable location within easy walking distance of public transportation and shopping.

Lastly, The Wynnewood House was built in 1964, boasting oversized balconies and spacious rooms. It was a blend of “contemporary convenience with traditional grace” that provided residents with the luxury living they had dreamt of. To this day, the rooms remain spacious and the traditional charm and character still exists.
